Our computers give us the opportunity to do lots of things we cannot even think about doing without them. And we cannot envision our lives nowadays without access to computers. So we need to keep them working as they should and at a sufficient speed. Look at these ideas below to help your slow computer.
Programs your computer does not need: When your computer is new, there are applications already loaded on to it by the computer company that you do not need. My best computers have been built by computer techs or shops with components to my specs. That way I didn\’t get the extra trash programs. The pre-assembled brand name units have all kinds of stuff I do not want. Some of these pre-installed programs are always running in the back ground. And this can particularly slow down computers at the start up. Now I realize it it too late to purchase a different computer and what you need now is a solution for your existing problems. I think I would let an expert technician remove them. The programs could be linked to other much required applications and the removal could have serious consequences.
Memory storage: This involves two types of computer memory that can make your computer slow down. You can increase memory capacity to your computer or erase some of the data being stored to free up space. The more your computer is used the more memory storage area is required. Today\’s computers have much more capacity than a few years past, yet they also need much more too. Our data is kept in storage in separate drives and by numerous a lot of software applications of your computer. Just as with any storage location – warehouse, storage room, closet, etc. – the space needs to be optimized. It doesn\’t matter how much space is available, if it is not organized it can slow down your personal computer.
Hard disk and RAM (random access memory): The two types of memory are your computer\’s hard disk and its RAM or random access memory. The hard disk is where data is kept in storage long term and the RAM is for short term. Computers that do not have adequate RAM will be slow because the Windows system will use up most of its capacity. This situation can be solved by buying and installing more RAM into the computer. And you can do this at home yourself.
Your pc\’s registry: If you have done a lot of adding or removing programs I would almost guarantee you need a registry cleaner. We do not in reality remove those applications totally, it just will not get all of it. The organizing of the registry can help get rid of unneeded information and that has proven to be a slow computer fix in and of its self. As you do work on your computer over time the registry will get overloaded and disorganized. And removing the computer\’s trash bin does not get rid of it either.
Registry cleaning or optimization is one thing you can do and is probably your best course. Since I\’ve had a windows registry cleaner I feel safer and my computer performs better as well.
